I mean, where do I even begin. Again I rarely write reviews, but every now and then you stumble on a true gem and you just have to shout it from the mountaintops! Fr... Temple Point in Watamu is an absolute standout. It’s simple, elegant, and effortlessly stylish—nothing overdone, just very intentional and serene. My cousin and I had an amazing stay here and we’ll definitely be back for the vibes. Service was top-tier. Emmanuel, Randu at Lichthaus, Steve and Charo on the boat experience, and all the ladies at the spa were exceptional—warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. They’re a big part of why this place hits different!! This is another “run, don’t walk” there situation guys. Thank you for a wonderful experience, and looking forward to being back very soon. This is our second time at this restaurant. The place seems recently renovated and the rooms look nice. The reception was great too. The restaurant is the problem. We were in a group of 2 Kenyans and other white people we’re getting served with menus at dinner and we were left sitting for almost 30 minutes before we wandered around and figured out the buffet for ourselves. It’s shameful that in this day and age this is still happening. Also, the food was a bit bland. Everything else is a five star, including service from the rest of the staff (hence the 2 stars), but the restaurant gets a zero. Racial bias is just plain inexcusable. Do better.

We came in for the Swahili dinner, and it sure was a good night. The selection of food was not so wide, but whatever was available was delicious.

A wonderful 5 day stay. The rooms are nice and cozy with a view of Mida Creek. Excellent Service and Food, a la carte and Buffet. Very nice breakfast with a good Bread and Cold Cut selection. SMall private beach with a bar.

Stayed a couple of days with friends and business partners. good service and excellent food. lichthaus is a gem, vibes and yummy bbq. natural environment with a lot of beautiful small spots to hang out and chill. rooms are beautiful
