  There is something missing here which I can't place a finger on. The rooms are ok but.... I don't know whether it's the old curtains or the plain walls or the lack of tv but a present remote control. The missing study table and a chair but a present cabinet.... Just something is missing. The food is good but the variety missing. The food is well done but something is still missing... The ambience, the dusty surroundings..the unpaved parking.. the paled walkways to the rooms but something is missing. I think the paved ways to the rooms zimeparara. Also the vegetation around the hotel are scorched buy the hot sun of Watamu. I think I need to come during the rainy season. But they can do better with watering. The swimming pools.... I don't know how to comment about them. I don't see the bottom it's not clean. The staff... I think most of the time an employee reflects the employers attitudes, the employer treatment of employees. I think I will write more. Am still enjoying the hotel

  This place is the worse resort I’ve ever stayed in. We traveled 12 hours to reach this resort arriving at 5:00 pm rooms were so dirty they had to reclean it. Then to add insult to injury there was no running water in the room it also smelled bad. There was no telephone in the room to contact the front desk. My advice do not book this resort you will be highly disappointed.

  The one watamu is a good space physically but the directors and management can do better especially when it comes to partnerships and service towards clients and business partners. I thought it was a trusted establishment but 👎.

  The doors in my room all require a lot of force and multiple attempts to properly close or lock. Could these be fixed, please? Also, I understand that the staff need to clean the room, but could they please check what's inside the containers or baskets before clearing them? Some items are clearly not trash, but they still get thrown away. They might not realize how sad a guest would feel to find that the seashells they collected have been tossed out.
