  Amazing place with very friendly staff! So calm and quite with a beautiful view over the creek. Its located on the other side of the creek but they have a captain drivning a small boat over so you easily can walk to the beach or take a tuktuk if you would like to go to Watamu ”center”. Try the tuna or prawn curry if you eat in the hotel restaurant, its very good!

  This place is a GEM! A bit hard to get to from the main road. However, it is well worth it. It has only 6 suites and are fantastic—quite, relaxing and also has a private-like cove with free boat service to the other side of the creek (best option). The staffs were lovely with humble hospitality. The place has lots of relaxing seats—nets, sun loungers, swings, swing beds, hammocks, literally all varients; and a little pool. This place has been our best stay jso far. Highly recommend if you want a quite and relaxing vibe. Ashante sana! J&S (stayed at Coco suite, Dec 25)

  Such a lovely place! There are so many cozy corners to relax and unwind. The staff are just amazing — from the restaurant team and the chef who makes delicious meals, to the awesome guides David and Saïd who made our experience unforgettable by showing us around. It really is a little piece of paradise that’s so hard to leave!

  What a little slice of paradise this place is! It bills itself as Watamu's hidden secret and it really is. Its a bit difficult to access via public transport, but very easy via boat from the Lichthaus, which they will arrange for you when you book. There are only 6 rooms, but loads of public space, so you feel like you have the place to yourself. The staff are all super efficient and friendly and Mariam, the manager will sort out anything you need. I was lucky enough to meet the owner when I was there, who was very engaging and friendly - the place has a very interesting history. The food is also great, although one negative on that is I wouldn't recommend the fillet. The pizza's and breakfast are excellent! Just to be aware that day visitors are allowed, which is totally cool and understandable, but if you happen to get a loud family with kids, your poolside chilling will be compromised - but then, you can always escape to some other private little space. Or swim at the beautiful private beach. I hired a SUP and went on an adventure into the creek and there are also numerous watersport activities you can do. All in all, its one of the best places I have stayed at during my three month overlanding trip through Africa and its very high on my list places to go back to.

  The rooms are very spacious and the fans in the rooms were working really well. The Chef was really good. All the food we ordered was cooked to perfection. The ambience was 👌👌👌👌. Very lovely staff in general.The pool water was abit salty so we didn’t manage to swim all the time though we could have been given snorkel goggles if we asked for them, but Generally it was a very good memorable experience and I would highly recommend. Thank you for making our girls trip a memorable one
