  Not Italian? Avoid!!! I helped pay for my friend’s honeymoon here and was sad to hear they had such awful experience that I can see is reflected in the other reviews left here. Staff are polite and accommodating to Italian guests, but openly cold and dismissive to non-Italians. The difference in service was blatant and unacceptable. Discrimination like this has no place in hospitality, avoid if you expect to be treated with basic respect. Stick to the local Kenyan places!!

  This place is beautiful but it is impossible to sleep. The clubs on the beach are super noisy and keep us up all night. Then the mosque blasts ghoulish prayers from 4-530am every day. We are exhausted. Not exactly a restful vacation.

  Beautiful location and complex. The beach is made of white soft flour sand and the pool large and beautiful. It is more of a club than a hotel. There is no room service but a very good buffet and very attentive service in the restaurant. It is tend by and customers are mostly Italian but they do translate whenever it is possible in English. Valentina is brilliant. Very effective and professional. The place is spotless, clean, beautifully decorated, and tended. They were able to organise a special diner for us on the beach to celebrate a special occasion. It was just perfect. We had a very good family time overall after a lukewarm start with "not so good" rooms assigned, and they were quite adamant to see us leave the room on time and, if possible, before. Apart from that, there is nothing to complain about. It would have been a perfect stay without it, but we are still very close to it anyway.

  I am disappointed with my stay at the hotel. It seems like they prioritize Italian guests over others. For example, the spa menu or any other atractions are in Italian which made it difficult to navigate. When we went on a private safari, our car wasn’t allowed to drop us off properly at the hotel lobby (like come on seriously this is how you treat your guests?) it felt like very poor treatment towards non-Italian guests (as their safari cars went to the lobby without any problems - we saw it). I’ve also never encountered in a good hotel a rule when you have to pay for WiFi if you want to have it in the room. Additionally, the staff’s English skills were quite limited as they were communicating in italian, making it difficult to understands the guest needs. If it comes to the food service – there’s a high risk that some dishes will be gone super fast as the staff is not changing the plates or is very slow to replenish the food. The meal times are restrictive too, only 1,5 h window for lunch and dinner with dinner starting as late as 8 PM or even later as they were never on time. Breakfast ends at 10 as well as the checkout time which is not convenient at all. Overall, the quality of service is poor and if you’re not fluent in Italian you must be aware that you might encounter such inconvenience.

  I am speechless. A lot of seaweed washes up on the beach in front of the hotel every day. A whole lot of plastic waste in the middle of the algae. The hotel staff collects the algae and throws it and the plastic 50 meters further back into the sea so that the guests have a "clean" beach. All the plastic waste ends up back in the sea. Really sad to see!!! That’s a shame!
