  Thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas Day lunch at Sankara. The Christmas Day, menu was super flavorful (thought the choice to offer an à la carte menu was a great option compared to the usual festive buffets). Salad bar was fantastic (the tuna ceviche could have been better)and having it as a separate add-on to the main dining is a brilliant option. To top it off, the band for the day was exceptional and really set the festive mood. Even on a very busy day, the service remained excellent. Highly recommended.

  One of the best hotels with great services and hospitality. Shout out to the receptionist Dorris who made my stay memorable. Their souvenirs are great and she made an effort to complete the set of my animal souvenirs. Great breakfast and gym as well. Worth the 5 stars!

  Wonderful property in Nairobi, we stayed one night in September as an airport overnighter before flying out of country the next day. Front desk hospitality was friendly, helpful, and efficient, with special care given to elite members. Some renovations of the common space (bottom few floors of restaurants, shops, and common areas) were underway during our stay, but the Sankara team did everything in their power to make the construction almost imperceptible and the stay a fantastic experience (e.g., amenities in room, placement on high floors). Kudos to them and would not hesitate to stay during the renovations based on how they handled guests with care. Food at the rooftop restaurant had a wide variety of on demand pastries, hot and cold dishes, juices, fruits, and a la carte add-ons – all of which were great. Club space was also quite nice with excellent refreshments, beverages view of the surrounding hills.

  Amazing Service every time. Staff are super friendly, so refreshing to be greeted everyday by wonderful warm genuine smiles. This is a hotel I love returning to. It just makes a trip more special. A little to close to buzzing nightlife spots but thats not something that you can fault the hotel for.

  My Husband and I stayed here for two nights in August. The hotel is very nice and the staff are friendly. The staff that welcomed us early and sorted out or room were very helpful. Our suite was amazing and decorated beautifully for my Husband's 40th. The executive lounge was very good with a nice and plentiful choice of canapés and snacks both sweet and savoury and a range of drinks. The staff were very lovely too. My only negative was that I had booked a table in the steak restaurant some months before for the special occasion of celebrating my Husband's actual birthday. I had been in contact with the staff regarding the booking and made enquires about the menu and champagne list, but when we arrived I was told that it was closed for refurbishment and had been for some months. It was a real disappointment as we had really been looking forward to it as it had really good reviews. I chose the hotel primarily because of the restaurant. It would have been nice to have been told so that I could have done some research and booked another restaurant for the special occasion. Instead we had dinner by the rooftop pool, which was nice but wasn't really the extra special evening I wanted for that occasion. We were also looking forward to the champagne bar that was advertised on the website, but that no longer exists either. I used the transport service within the hotel for a day trip and that was a success. The staff were very friendly and helpful
