Found two guys at the reception and their service was/is impeccable. I loved and enjoyed everything about the place, only one thing was a miss. The bottled water. Kindly work on that.

Exceptional service and a warm atmosphere I had a fantastic experience. The entire staff was incredibly professional and attentive from the moment I arrived. I want to give a special mention to Alice, who provided exceptional care and made sure every detail of my stay was perfect. Her hospitality really stood out. The hotel is well-maintained and provides a peaceful environment. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nakuru

Rock Hyrax Hotel offers an enjoyable stay in Nakuru, especially for guests looking for comfort, convenience and value. I visited with my family and we were all well-accommodated, and I also hosted a small party with my staff from Royal Smiles Dental Clinic — the hotel handled both family leisure and group hospitality very well. The hotel is located in a strategic spot—close to town, yet slightly tucked away—making it quiet enough for rest but still accessible for errands and travel. Rooms & Comfort The rooms are clean, adequately furnished, and spacious enough for a comfortable stay. Bedding is fresh, water is reliable, and the general housekeeping is consistent. Service & Staff The staff are polite, responsive and willing to assist. Check-in is smooth, and requests are handled without unnecessary delays. Their hospitality is one of the biggest strengths of the hotel. Dining There is a good variety of fresh meals, with decent portions and fair pricing. Service time is reasonable and the dining area is clean. Amenities & Experience The environment is calm, security is good, and parking is available. Wi-Fi works fine for basic browsing and business needs. Overall Rock Hyrax Hotel is a reliable, comfortable option for short or extended stays in Nakuru. It’s ideal for guests who want affordability, cleanliness, and good service without compromising peace and convenience.
