Warm rooms & suites with free Wi-Fi in a casual hotel offering a restaurant, bar & outdoor pool.

Five years ago the breakfast buffet here was legendary, but recent reviews say the food quality dropped hard and parts of the building smell of mold. The pool and grounds are still lovely, but go for the location near Lake Nakuru National Park, not the dining experience.

    Worst experience ever!! The food was just horrible we didn't even eat it l. Horrible horrible horrible! The drink price on the menue vs reality is very different. The one star is for ambience. Honest opionion , never again waterbucks.

    The Waterbuck Hotel is a truly beautiful place where you can stay with the whole family. The welcome was very warm. Everyone was made to feel welcome. The staff are very friendly and courteous. The rooms were very attractive and clean. The breakfast was also plentiful and delicious. Many thanks from the whole family for a wonderful stay.

    The quality of meals is just at another level. I got to experience different African cultures from the meals offered there. The accomodation and hospitality service is just great.

    One of the worst hotel ever seen. They gave us the room on the second floor where we can see some part is broken and then covered it mat and due to water it smells simply back. Simply horrible experience. Big no for this hotel and specially if you are traveling with the family.

    BREAKFAST BUFFET: Five years ago, I spent a night here and had what I can only describe as one of the most unforgettable breakfast buffets of my life. I was still a single man then, and that morning spread left such a lasting impression on me that I swore I would one day return. Fast forward to today, this time, with my wife by my side. I had spoken so highly of this breakfast, hyped it up as “never a miss,” and built it up as something worth traveling counties for. I wanted to relive that memory and share it with her. But... boy, was I wrong. What greeted us was a buffet that felt like a shadow of its former self. Food options were painfully thin. And what little was available was either cold or just barely warm, which, for breakfast, is even worse. For Ksh 1800 per person, this was far from the rich, vibrant experience I once knew. The staff, I must admit, were excellent, welcoming and attentive. But let’s be honest: I didn’t travel all this way just for smiles at the reception. I came for the legendary breakfast that had once carved a memory into my heart. Sadly, that memory has now been overwritten by disappointment. Would I return? No. Not again.
