  Stopped by for late lunch, must commend them for the swift service, didn’t take long to have our order taken and the food ready. The food was nothing short of amazing, had a mixed grill platter, we were three and couldn’t finish it. All the meat was amazingly done. Great open space and kids play area. The place however needs renovations. Came back 4 months later, think something has changed. Food took more than an hour to get to our table, wait staff unsure of what the menu constitutes, and no communication as to what is causing all the wait. Quite disappointing!

  We had an excellent experience hosting our event at this hotel. From the planning stage to the actual day, the team was supportive, responsive, and willing to ensure everything ran smoothly. The team-building activities were well organized, the food was enjoyable, and the service team was attentive throughout the day. Our participants were comfortable, well taken care of, and genuinely enjoyed the experience. The environment was calm and ideal for team engagement, discussions, and bonding. Overall, it was great value for money, and we appreciated the effort the management and staff put into making our event successful. We would confidently recommend this hotel for team-building activities, meetings, and conferences, and we look forward to working with them again in the future.

  I would absolutely not recommend this hotel for mini conferences, conferences, or team-building activities, unless you are prepared to be deeply disappointed. We have organized and hosted many conferences over the years, and this was by far the worst experience we’ve had. The team-building package we booked included morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea. Unfortunately, the execution was extremely poor. For morning tea, only arrowroots, samosas, and mandazi were served, and these were literally counted to the exact number. There were no extras at all, leaving many participants hungry. This level of rigidity was both shocking and unprofessional. Lunch was decent, but still very underwhelming for a large group. Serving about ten grapes for the whole group does not qualify as adequate fruit provision, and once again, fruits (very small slices of pineapple and watermelon) were counted exactly to the number of attendees. This is something we have never experienced before in any professional conference setting. The conference room itself was in very poor condition. The toilets were non-flushable, which is unacceptable for a venue hosting corporate or professional events. Overall, the hotel management demonstrated very poor planning and coordination throughout the entire engagement. Value for money, absolutely not!

  I was actually amazed at how such a beautiful place can exist not far from Nairobi. The warm reception from the gate make you feel like royalty. The stunning luscious well maintained environment lulls you into not even think about going back home. The food is top-tier and the service is matched exceptionally to the serene environment. I will definitely come back, this time with friends. A big thanks to Mac, who was my host.

  Tried the platters at Oak place restaurant and wow — 10/10! Amazing food, great service, and such a welcoming vibe. Highly recommend. My friends we so excited. Definitely a place i would recommend anyday anytime. I'll be back!! -Mrs Maureen Okello
