  My husband and I spent two days in this place. They offer not only accommodation but also a Restaurant and Bar with very affordable prices and on top organise safari tours and more. We had our breakfast and dinner there which was the closest I had come to homecooked food in Kenya. Tasten very good and without unnecessary Spices. All staff including the kitchen bar and Reception war really attentive to our needs. There was always a Personal touch that made us feel valued as guests. Our Safari to Lake Nakuru national park was very successful. Our knowledgeable driver knew where to go for maximum success of finding animal and gave explanation where possible. He also brought us to the Menengai crater where he helped us through the discussion at the entry point and found us a guide. 100%%

  If you're looking to do Kenya on a budget, this is the perfect place to stay. Yes, the rooms are very basic. But my friend and I had a great time here when we stayed for one night. Locals come by for a drink, so it's an opportunity to mingle with them. The food was very good. The next morning we took off early for a game drive organized by the hotel. We saw so many animals, and loved Nakuru as our first experience within the Kenyan National Parks.

  Super warm, friendly, welcoming place which attracts great backpackers and locals. The rooms are clean and cozy and some get wifi, and the guesthouse has several cool common areas. It has a very homely vibe, the host is super attentive and makes sure everyone has a good time. Can't recommend staying here enough.

  Our outing was amazing at Home base Gardens. Memorable moment was the borne fire with other guests in the evening. The food was great esp the matoke and breakfast. To be sincere all the places I ever spent, I never got such affordable quality accommodation and customer service. Will come over many more times.

  Very good value for money. We stayed here twice on our journey. The rooms are simple but clean. The staff is very friendly. We enjoyed especially the dinner. Everything was prepared fresh and really delicious. For our motorcycles we got secure parking as well. A recommendable place for sure!
