  Having never been on safari before, I did not know what to expect. The wonderful and amazing experience provided by Agnes and her team at Basecamp Adventure was, however, beyond my wildest imagination. You will be greeted by smiles and a serene welcome drink as you arrive, followed by an escort to your luxury tent with the most breathtaking view. When it's time for your game drives, Manfred will show you sights that create memories lasting a lifetime. Once back at camp, Alfred will accommodate you for dinner with excellent service, serving a delicious 3-course meal with options, prepared by the skillful chefs at camp. At last, when ready to head back for some rest at your tent, Benson and John will keep you safe from the wildlife that surrounds the camp, before saying good night and guarding your home away from home during the dark hours. This was our experience at Basecamp Adventure, and I have no doubt yours will be the same. Some names have been left out, but I'd like to thank everyone involved in making our stay as wonderful as it was. I cannot wait to return.

  We absolutely loved our stay at Basecamp Adventure! The tents are spacious and incredibly comfortable, with a huge bed, a table and chairs, and a large bathroom featuring two sinks, a shower, and a toilet. Everything comes with breathtaking views of the river and the Masai Mara National Park beyond. The staff truly make this camp exceptional. Agnes and her wonderful team looked after us beautifully, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Alfred, our dedicated host, was incredibly kind, attentive, and always there when we needed anything. During our stay, the restaurant tent was being repaired, and we were lucky enough to enjoy dinner under the stars and lunch by the river — an unforgettable experience that felt very special and unique. This was the best place we’ve ever stayed, not only on safari, and the entire team made it truly memorable. We were also amazed by the wildlife — monkeys, dik-diks, hyenas, crocodiles, hippos, and even an elephant — all seen from the camp! As the camp is unfenced, wildlife from the park freely passes through, but we always felt completely safe thanks to the wonderful Maasai guards who look after guests. Overall, we couldn’t recommend this place more — a truly exceptional experience from start to finish.

  Absolutely magical. Sleeping here surrounded by the sounds of the savannah is an unforgettable experience. The tents are very comfortable and well equipped, blending adventure with real comfort. The staff is warm and attentive, the food is excellent, and the location ideal for safaris inside the Maasai Mara. You can feel the connection with nature and the local community. Truly one of the highlights of our trip.

  I spent three nights in this place, and I still struggle to find the right words to describe how special it was. From the very first moment, I felt I was living something truly unique. The tents are so much more than that — they’re cozy little havens, full of thoughtful details, spotless, comfortable, and perfectly designed to enjoy nature without giving up comfort. But what really makes the difference is the people. The staff are incredibly warm, kind, and always ready to help. They welcome you with genuine smiles and make you feel part of the place — not just a guest. And then there’s the magic of sleeping right next to the Masai Mara Reserve. Listening to the sounds of the savannah as night falls, gazing at the star-filled sky, and waking up to the African sunrise is an experience that touches your soul. You feel the power of nature and the beauty of simplicity. It was an unforgettable experience, one that stays with you long after you leave.

  The best experience we had in all Kenya and Zanzibar! The tents were really comfortable, beautiful view just across the river, food was amazing and the staff was a real gem. They made our stay unforgettable! Andrew, Agnes, Benson and each one of them were absolutely perfect! They organized a surprise birthday party in Masai style that was memorable! I will for sure come back to Basecamp Adventure!
