  I had a very excellent experience staying at Alawi Home. From food, rooms, facilities, atmosphere, cleanliness and outstanding customer service is what makes this hotel a great choice. The place is very beautiful and the decor is perfect. Grabiela is very helpful, knowledge and very flexible helping us feel well taking care of, she is a very great host. Staff also very good and accommodating with kids. Cheff made great local food! Overall the experience was excellent no issues or concerns,we would love to go back.

  My husband and I stayed at the Alawi Home Resort for 12 nights. The property is meticulously maintained and decorated with a refined design inspired by local taste. The room is large and bright, with a spacious shower and a bed that boasts the best mattress we have ever slept on. The breakfast served seafront offers a varied menu ranging from eggs to bacon to pastries, all strictly homemade. The real jewel in the crown of the Alawi, however, is the Service: the staff, under the expert guidance of manager Gabriella and the owner Nilde, is ready to satisfy every guest's need with care and professionalism. We have stayed in many resorts of the same level, yet rarely have we felt so welcomed and pampered. Martin at breakfast and all the staff, from chef to housekeeping, are trained to provide first-class service. We can only unreservedly recommend the Alawi to any traveller who wants to experience a stay with unparalleled hospitality, attention and service.

  The best boutique hotel we've ever stayed. .....from staff, food, location and ambience. Been here several times when in Watamu and it's hard to beat. Highly recommended!!! This is our home away from home.

  Very good place, awesome staff and overall its a splendid place. The privacy of the rooms depends on the room location, so if you are planning to stay there and want privacy make sure you have an upstairs room. The only bad thing about Alawi is the road getting there, 40 minutes of bumpy road and the place there is isolated so we had to do trips to the local town to stock on some stuff which will cost u around 10 dollars overall. Overall very nice experience.

  We stayed for 3 nights at Alawi, occupying one room at Alawi Home and one room at Alawi Boutique. The rooms were both very nice and clean. We really enjoyed the family atmosphere and the private beach. The staff made our stay extremely pleasant. Thanks again, especially to Emanuel and Eddy. The beach at Alawi with the sand banks and the crystal clear water is just beautiful. Moreover, we would like to emphasize the delicious food.
