A beautiful, warm, inviting guest house near Olare and Naibosho conservancies with cozy bedding, warm fireplace, and beautiful meals on the terrace. Helen and the team are lovely, and the tent is as luxurious as the house — even outside the Mara, you'll see giraffes and wildlife.

    Helen and the entire team at the Maa Guest House were so lovely. The entire home was beautiful - design, vibe, comfort and functional. Cozy bedding, warm fireplace and beautiful meals on the terrace or the main dining room. As a vegan, the chef was impeccable. The house is very close to the Maa Trust HQ and easy to visit the beading team and interact with other parts of the trust team. Easy access to the Mara Conservancy and other areas, although you may be tempted to sit and watch the massive zebra herds pass by on Zebra Plains.

    Our recent stay at Maa House was wonderful in every way. It is in a very quiet & private location & is beautiful, warm & inviting. We chose to stay in the tent, which was as luxurious inside as the house! The staff could not have done more to make us feel welcome. We were incredibly well looked after & the food was delicious. We were also very happy with our Game Drives, booked through Edu Africa as recommended by Maa House. The Maa Trust is also doing incredible work for the community & women in particular & is well worth supporting.

    The Maa House was a peaceful and comfortable private accomodation near Olare and Naibosho consevancies. Eventhough we were outside the Masai Mara and those conservancies, we were able to see some giraffes and other wildlife nearby. It was ideal for our group who were visiting from abroad but was also comfortable for the family we shared the house with. The house itself is very clean , comfortable and tastefully decored. They seem to strive for sustainability as they recycle their water and try to avoid plastic bottles. A highlight of our stay was also the staff who made sure that we were taken care of. Susan, the house manager, was very welcoming and hospitable. We would definitely recommend Maa House to anyone who is seeking for a hidden gem. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
