  Right from the start: This lodge is an absolute heartfelt recommendation! If you want to experience authentic Maasai culture and enjoy unforgettable safari tours, this is the place for you. The lodge itself is beautifully situated, surrounded by nature, with very clean and lovingly furnished rooms. The entire staff is incredibly warm and attentive, ensuring you feel completely at home. The food is also excellent – varied and truly delicious. In the evening, you can sit comfortably around the campfire, chat, and gain fascinating insights into the lives and traditions of the Maasai. The encounter with a traditional medicine man, who told us a lot about Maasai medicine – a unique experience – was particularly impressive. The safari tours were also an absolute highlight. All in all, we can only say: This lodge is a very special experience that we won't soon forget – with a fantastic team and an extremely friendly hotel manager. Since there are only a few reviews because the hotel has only just opened, we were initially hesitant. Completely unjustified, as this lodge offers truly unforgettable moments! We thank you again for this unforgettable time! :)

  A lovely lodge in a magnificent place. We stayed 4 nigths, 2 days of amazing safari (1 day by our own, 1 with a Masai guide), 1 day dedicated to visit on foot from the lodge Masai people living in the crater in the bush. Surprise: one evening we saw a hyena along the fence surrounding the lodge, zebras every days around the lodge and when we left the place at morning 5 beautiful giraffes were at the corner of the path to joint the road to Narok. An amazing journey. Excellent Kenyan food, very nice staff, a professional Maasai guide named Justus and an old Maasai man (Moses) specialist of medicine plants. Chris

  An unforgettable safari experience. We would come back in a heartbeat! We stayed for two nights and it was simply magical. The lodge is small, family-run, and managed with so much heart. We felt comfortable and welcome from the moment we arrived. At night, we actually heard lions (an incredible feeling!), but we always felt safe because the property is surrounded by an electric fence. The food was truly fantastic: a freshly prepared three-course meal every evening, which we enjoyed in a romantic setting in front of the fireplace. The service was exceptional, and our every need was anticipated. We have never experienced such a warm, attentive, and personal touch. Our safari guide, Sadena, ensured that we saw an incredible number of animals – and we were always able to have a say in what we wanted to do. The game drives were an adventure, yet totally relaxing. The picnics in the heart of nature were especially lovely, and one time we were sitting there and heard hippos. Simply magical. In the evenings, we sat around the campfire with a Maasai medicine man and gained fascinating insights into traditional healing practices. We also had the opportunity to visit a Maasai village and experience firsthand how the Maasai live. We learned an incredible amount about their culture and way of life. What particularly touched us was the accommodation's active involvement with a local school and its support of education in the region – it shows how much heart and responsibility goes into everything they do. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and lovingly furnished. Even though the accommodation is located a bit outside the town, this was actually an advantage for us, as the journey to the Masai Mara was a mini safari experience in itself, because we saw so many animals along the way. It was truly worth every penny, and I wholeheartedly recommend this place!
