    One of the most beautiful camp with cottages in that region. Am absolutely pleasure to meet 'Old Man Barnley' and to hear his stories and the past times. Always a wonderful place to visit!

    Barnleys is a great place to camp! Quiet, peaceful, beautiful birds and 6 colobus monkeys make it even better! Richard was very helpful with advise on our route and other practicalities. We spent only one night on our way to Suam border, but we would have loved to stay longer!

    We recently thoroughly enjoyed staying at Barnley's Guest House. This is an oasis of bird life! Maurice, an experienced bird guide, accompanied us on the property, on foot out the property, to Saiwa Swap and Mount Elgon National Park. Richard and Kris shared many interesting stories from the past. An excellent team in the kitchen saw to our dietary needs. We look forward to visiting again!

    The house retains it's nostalgic charm with beautifully kept grounds (available for camping) and the staff do everything they can to make you comfortable, including by preparing delicious, generous meals with a little warning. Great location for exploring Saiwa Swamp NP.

    We had an excellent stay here. The location has rooms available in the guest house and separate cabins and even tents. The property is well managed with beautiful landscaping and clean, well appointed rooms. The owner contacted us before our stay to check on our food preferences. We enjoyed the dining and stay very much. The property is located just a few kilometers northeast of Kitale, Kenya.
