  Very far from city center, but excellent for those who want to relax.

  Twiga beach is situated a bit further from Watamu centre. The location is beautiful as is the accomodation. Nice gardens, a salt pool with enough seats and cabanas. The beachside is gorgous with deck chairs under the palmtrees. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room and bathroom were spacious and the staff kept them clean and tidy on a daily basis. The food, drinks and snacks were delicious. The price-quality ratio is good. Disadvantages: The main language is Italian, both for information provision and announcements by the entertainment team. As a result, we missed out on (some) info and fun activities. On the beach, there are dozens of vendors; as soon as you walk a few meters towards the sea, you are surrounded, and they don't know when to stop. This prevented us from either swimming in the sea or walking on the reef at low tide. All in all, we enjoyed the week we spent here, and if we were to return to Kenya, we would definitely consider staying at Twigabeach.

  We were pleased with the hotel. The room was cleaned every day. The only problem was the frequent lack of hot water in the shower. Beautiful beach surrounded by palm trees. The ocean is hot, but you have to remember that there are tides and here you can walk on the ocean floor. The manager is very committed and helpful. I recommend this hotel.

  Never coming back ! First of all, there is an obvious favoritism for Italian people, some of the staff doesn’t even speak English. Staff at the reception is very rude, not even a hello or a smile. After the checkout, they told us we had to pay for the last meal of our stay even we were on all inclusive !! One night I found an INSECT in my food and the waiter just said “oh okay”, this is not acceptable ! And last but not least the rooms were not cleaned regularly and most of the days they forgot to put the clean towels back in the room.

  It is a nice hotel I have experienced alot of hospitality as a fish supplier I imagine of how the tourists are treated if as a supplier I am well treated. it is among the 5 stars Hotels in Kenya
