  The hotel highlights beautifully the Swahili architecture of the Kenyan coastline. As a native kenyan I have to say that the hotel is almost entirely catered to Italian guests first and natives second which isn’t a huge deal. Otherwise I had one of the most relaxing stays here...

  We spent Christmas at jacaranda beach resort in watamu. And me and my family had a horrible time. My first complaint was the food they served during breakfast, lunch and dinner. They had the same options everyday not changing anything. My next complaint was the room. The rooms looked horrible especially the bathrooms. They look old and ugly. My last complaint was the resort itself. As an American visitor they treated anyone that wasn’t Italian horribly. They only catered to the Italians, only speaking Italian and ignoring everyone’s wishes. This is generally a horrible place to stay during any time of the year. WONT COME AGAIN!

  I had a wonderful stay at this stunning resort! The pool was excellent, and the location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach. The buffet breakfast was fantastic, with a great variety to choose from, and the staff made the experience even better. The room facing the ocean were fantartic Special thanks to Carol, the manager, and Duncan for their excellent service. Bahati at the reception was incredibly helpful and welcoming as well. Enjoyed the coconut water welcome drink. I appreciated the instructor at the pool, Hassan who accommodated some water exercises, even though no one else showed up at the scheduled time for water aerobics Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to enjoy all the resort’s activities as my trip was short and packed with outdoor adventures. Nevertheless, the resort’s location is ideal—close to the beach for relaxation, yet Uber makes trips to the city easy and convenient. I would definitely come back and stay again! Highly recommended.

  We had an amazing stay at Jacaranda Beach Resort in Watamu! The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking ocean views and a beautiful, well-maintained beach. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and offered great views. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure we felt welcome. The food was delicious, offering a great mix of local and international dishes. I especially loved the relaxing atmosphere by the pool and the various activities available. If you're looking for a perfect beach getaway in Watamu, Jacaranda Beach Resort is the place to be!

  I had an amazing 3-night stay at Jacaranda Beach Resort in Watamu, and I couldn’t be more impressed! The resort’s beachfront location offers stunning ocean views, and the white sandy beaches are perfect for a relaxing getaway. My room was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated with a cozy veranda leading to the beach and the ocean. The food was a real treat—delicious local and international dishes, with fresh seafood being the highlight. I especially enjoyed the Swahili-themed dinners and dining with a view of the ocean. The staff were warm, attentive, and made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. Jacaranda offers a wide range of activities, from lounging by the pool to playing beach volleyball. Evening entertainment was a bonus, with live performances adding a lively touch to the nights.
