  Seven Island Watamu is absolutely beautiful. Crystal clear water, peaceful vibes, and stunning views. A perfect place to relax and enjoy nature.

  If you are not white, or Italian, you will feel the shade from the gateman harassing you to confirm your booking while still in your taxi. After the reception, all other staff are friendly and the services are good. The only downside is that everything (signage, menu, music) is in Italian so you may need to brush up on that or use google translate.

  Note: day trip, did not stay the night This is a great place to come for a day at the pool. At low tide, you can walk to the little islands which is a very fun and unique experience. We did not eat here, but the cocktails are very good.

  The place is good but needs some sprucing up. Dinner was average. Breakfast average. No welcome drink, no confirmation if can be picked from the airport. To their credit, they gave us extended check out time. Place is good, but they need to improve the variety of food on their buffet menu. I understand it's off peak but can do better. Rooms are average, no kettle for tea or coffee. Waiters are polite and kind. There is no option to order any food between lunch and dinner. However they serve some biscuits and cake at 5.00p.m. foc. The pool is of good size and kept very clean. Many beach boys but no security from the hotel outside at the beach. The view is good. For the price, the hotel is not bad.

  We went to this beautiful resort from January 7th to January 18th. There are many notable positives with a few notable negatives. We'll start with the negatives. 1. This resort mostly ONLY speaks Italian. This was not a problem for me or my girlfirend as I am Italian and she understands and mostly speaks Italian. However, all shows, announcements and most entertainment workers will only speak Italian, so this resort is not catered to a lot of different cultures. The workers do speak English, and the entertainment crew only did some, but if you're a person who wants to go meet people and have the best time but you're an English speaker, you'll have a hard time here. 2. There were two days where our room and the surrounding area smelled like sewage. It was horrible. We did talk to the front desk and it was fixed almost immediately because we didn't smell it after we reported it and went back. 3. The food... It wasn't horrible, but sometimes we did struggle to find something worth eating. There is a pasta bar manned by a man named Barack. It's really good... You can never go wrong with pasta. However, desserts weren't the best all the time so if you're love sweets you might not find something to satisfy your cravings. Also, the buffet in general was the same almost every day and sometimes the food did not have a lot of flavor. HOWEVER... you can find something you like to fill your stomach. 4. THE BEACH BOYS!!! 5. This resort DOES have a gym, however... it was under renovation and we were not able to use it. THE POSITIVE is that they do offer water aerobics and other options to get your body moving with the staff if this is something important for you. The positives far outweigh the negatives, which is why this resort is granted 4 stars from our point of view. 1. The workers are VERY kind. A smile and small talk goes a long way with them. They really love friendly people. 2. The grounds of the resort are kept pristine and are very beautiful. There are many options on where to sunbathe and relax. 3. There were two bars, one by the beach and one by the pool, where you can get drinks at all times during the late morning and afternoon. Beware that SOFT All-inclusive does NOT include alcoholic drinks, BUT the drinks are very cheap and affordable. 4. MASSAGES!!! Not only were they amazing, but also extremely affordable. My girlfriend and I went for 3 massages each during our 10 days. With drinks and these massages, at the end our bill was LESS THAN 150€. 5. The room was beautiful. Although the lighting wasn't best, it was very comfortable and always clean. 6. The beach, although it was small, was very clean and nice. The sand was so soft, it was easy to walk as there weren't even any rocks. Beware of the high and low tides! The tides change every 6 hours. During low tide, the water might not be as beautiful, but you can walk to the seven islands and have a nice stroll in the sand. It's worth it. During high tide, you can STILL walk to the islands, but of course the water is higher and you might have to swim some. It's warm and clear. 7. Although the staff mostly only speaks Italian, they're kind and friendly and try to get to know their guests. The entertainment is funny and guests do have a nice time with them. 8. There are readily available TukTuks to get around Watamu. All you have to do is go to the gate of the resort and ask the guard for one. He will get one for you right away. 9. THEY HAVE THEME NIGHTS!!! So make sure to bring different outfits to fit the nights. ONE IS Aperitivo in Rosso (wear red) and one is an elegant night. It was nice to have these options. Overall, we had a really nice and relaxing time. It's worth it to go, but as we stated, if you only speak English or a language other than Italian or English, you might have a difficult time spending a nice holiday here.
