  Hostile service, poor quality of food! (Writing this as someone who lives in Kenya and speaks Kiswahili, not an entitled tourist) The waitress/ manager treated all tables as if they were a nuisance- no hello, no response to our smiles, no sign of enthusiasm whatsoever. Poor manners, no please or thank you, food was basically tossed onto the table without a word. Not even a goodbye when we left. Absolute disinterest in any kind of customer interaction - as if a moody teenager were forced to work. Very similar to other reviews here. Foodwise: - greasy and oily - ⁠the 1/2 fried chicken was just as large as the 1/4 th chicken in the curry, basically only bones - ⁠half of the menu was not available; no seafood at all, no greens, no beans - ⁠chapati were clearly not fresh All in all a large disappointment, given how positive the other reviews are

  Nice place with a cool, quiet atmosphere. Service was a bit slow, but overall it’s a pleasant spot to relax.

  Fantastic traditional place. Very good prices, great service. I love the feel of it. NOT as some other overhyped restaurants around, but a lovely place with real soul.

  The pepper steak had a delicious sauce order it with fries. the meat was not the best cut but not too bad. Omelette wasn’t too bad either. They have a decent pool but no shade on the pool a few pool chairs with shade. They seem to be adding to the place to make it nicer. All and all for 150 kes to use the pool it’s real decent.
