  I had such a great time at Funky Monkey Diani, honestly one of those places that just gets everything right. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt welcoming, relaxed, and full of good energy. Poly, the bartender, was amazing and gave such attentive, friendly service — the kind that makes you feel genuinely taken care of rather than just served. He really elevated the whole experience. I ordered the fish tacos, and wow — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly done. Every bite was enjoyable. To drink, I had the Electric Iced Tea, and it was absolutely the perfect choice for me — refreshing, well-balanced, and dangerously easy to sip. The ambience deserves a special mention. The music, lighting, and overall vibe came together beautifully. It’s the kind of place where you can relax, have great conversations, and truly enjoy the moment. Ambience: 10/10 Great food, excellent drinks, outstanding service, and an all-around fantastic experience. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend Funky Monkey Diani to anyone looking for good vibes and great hospitality

  Really a 4.5 star, the cocktails were some of the beat we had in all of Kenya, with a great mix of flavours and really good value. The food was good, however a little bit heavy on the frying taste and portions could be a little bigger, we went at lunchtime so the atmosphere was as subdued, would loved to have come in the evening. Would definitely recommend, Thanks

  Compared to other places we visited in Kenya including several five-star resorts this place truly impressed us and absolutely deserves special recognition. Everything is perfectly executed: the food is outstanding, and the cocktails are... without a doubt the best in all of Kenya! A huge plus for the fast, professional service no long waiting times, no frustration, you order and everything arrives at your table in no time. A place you genuinely want to return to and can wholeheartedly recommend to everyone. the price is too high so we drink a lot of cocktails🥂🍹🍸

  Excellent service and very friendly staff. M&M were great with hospitality and we have thoroughly enjoyed our evening with you all at Funky Monkey. Baraka was awesome, always smiling and took care of all our needs. The steak was excellent and the Tuna Tataki was boom!!! 🙌🏻

  Place is very modern, pretty and cozy. I love the terrasse style setting but with coziness and privacy. The food was overall ok, but in my opinion the portion is too small, hence you may feel you are not getting your money's worth. This however seems to be the norm in Diani, as my experience has been the same in similar places. Great quality and reasonably priced coffee with a bakery on site providing sweet bites. Overall 7/10, the highlight being the service, which was exceptional: attentive, friendly and fast 🙂
