    We found this lovely gem during our trip to Ol Pejeta. The place is beautiful, and the food was delicious! The best part was the exceptional service and the wonderful conversation with the owner, who is also the founder of the Nanyuki Furaha Foundation for children and orphans. A percentage of the restaurant’s earnings goes toward supporting the foundation: a real bonus that made the experience even more meaningful. Many thanks!

    We had a delightful surprise discovering La Mensa. The restaurant is run by a very passionate Italian woman who has lived in the area for many years. The pizza, bruschetta, salad, and tiramisu were all delicious. Having lived in Kenya many years myself, I must admit, this is the best pizza I've eaten. It's thin-crusted and tastes fresh and flavorful. Italian food made with love and the best of simplicity.

    Hidden gem! Saw this place while looking for desserts, it is located in a home so do be patient by pressing the doorbell on the right side of the gate ✅. We were pleasantly surprised to meet the wonderful owner who does all the food on her menu from scratch and they are all homemade! We had very delicious bread basket, caprese, bruschetta, meat ravioli, al funghi risotto, chocolate cake and home made gelato coconut and caramel ice cream! They are all so yummy and the cheese are home made locally as well, no store-bought items. Truly blown away! Very affordable too. Wonderful experience playing with the kids and animals and a very lovely owner Andreina, we will be back again!
