    We were here 2 years ago. The food is good, but the prices have literally doubled! Don't trust the menu you see online... 20 euros for a grilled squid feels like European prices, certainly not what you’d expect from a local restaurant in Watamu. ​Also, we arrived at 8:30 PM, and by 9:15 PM (just 5 minutes after we finished eating), they brought us the bill saying they were about to close. Definitely not a pleasant way to be treated! ​We won't be coming back

    Great fish of the day perfectly prepared. The cocktail drinks were all amazing, my favorite being the passion fruit daiquiri. We missed happy hour but I’d totally recommend it during sunset. The staff was nice to call us a tutttutt to get back to our hotel.

    We stopped for an early dinner and the aesthetic is gorgeous. Blue and white, clean, gorgeous kitengela glassware. Lovely tables and terrace seating for the evening. The cocktails were innovative and interesting. We really enjoyed two kinds of fish curry. But be aware that they are charging European prices, not serving at Kenyan price points. For residents, this would be a special occasion place.

    Beautiful views across the lake from either the table seating or terraces make this spot great for sunsets, plus a fabulous range of cocktails and light bites. Sadly they'd run out of prawns the night we visited, but the crab tacos were fresh, zingy and delicious! My daughter tried the tuna tartare and sticky pork ribs with potato wedges (they were so good, the ones she couldn't finish came home). The staff were friendly and were happy to accommodate any requests - would love to go again to try the prawns!
