  The first time I came here I didn’t get any service, I had walked in and was informed that it was reservations only, this was 2025 new years, of course I felt a certain way but chose to try my luck this year with a reservation of course , and I’m glad I did. Being new years and peak season in Watamu, It was quite packed, waiting time was longer than usual but we didn’t mind as the wait staff did inform us to anticipate this. The atmosphere was great, our table has the ocean’s view which was fantastic. I can’t rave enough about the meals we had , we had the grilled fish and the grilled beef fillet, both fantastic so flavorful, I highly recommend the grilled beef fillet in the butter and herb sauce, just delectable.

  This place is superb! In a town overwhelmed by Italian restaurants (which are good, but that’s not my point), this Lebanese place found its way with a variety of specialties, one better than the others. To top it up, the restaurant is placed right in front of the sea, offering a wonderful view that can be enjoyed with one of their many cocktails :) Music is always on and the waiters are very kind. Highly recommended!

  The king fish fillet was easily the best meal I had in Watamu. Perfectly tender in the tastiest buttery caper sauce. I was dipping everything in that sauce. The veggies still had a bite to them, not overcooked. The potatoes were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside - a texture I have never managed to achieve myself. I liked that they used paper straws for the drinks given the beach setting. The menu also has nice vegetarian options. The restaurant sits on the beach and overlooks the bay in a beautiful and relaxing setting. I really like the indoor-outdoor atmosphere of the restaurant with open air, natural light, and wooden structures. It was thoughtfully designed to fit in the surroundings. There is even a small shower outside to use after taking a dip at the beach and going back inside when your meal has arrived. The staff is very friendly and clearly trained. They were attentive without hovering and the service was quick. They hung a shade when they saw I was overheating in the sun without me needing to ask. When I sat at their outdoor cushions with my drink, the staff came to inform me when my food was ready and served the meal only after I took my seat, which was a nice touch.

  2600 for their "gourmet" burger. Literally twice the price of other burgers in Watamu......and literally less than half the quality. If it were the only burger on the North Coast and I was really craving a burger......I would not have it again. A total waste of money. It took them 45 minutes to make it. And the place was not busy. I ordered it well done. I got medium. But after a 45 minute wait I dared not send it back. The "gourmet" burger......tasted like old freezer-burnt camel. I give fair and honest reviews. This was not tasty food. I asked them to make the fries crispy. They were delicious. I must admit. I asked for a coke zero. 300ml. glass bottle. 300 shillings. This is pure greed. It cost the restaurant less than 50 shillings. Why do that to your customers? The service was friendly and the staff were nice. But overall....not good value for your money. I will never go back. I paid enough for 3 meals. I got one meal that was not worth 1/3 what I paid. Avoid this place. So many better options in Watamu.
