Keep your expectations low. We got a lukewarm soup with a broth that was almost flavorless. Even the chili oil was a letdown. We used more than half of it and still couldn’t find any spice or kick. I suppose this version might suit people who avoid spice and prefer a very bland meal, but that’s the exact opposite of what Lanzhou noodles should be. If they want to call themselves a Chinese restaurant, they really need to do better.

The food was very delicious. Only i didn't realise they had put parsley in the duck dish and since I'm intolerant to parsley it sort made the dish taste abit soapy, but nonetheless it was tasty.

The restaurant is located right at the entrance of China Town on Ring road Kilimani. I ordered for beef dumplings that were flavorful and a delight. The Yu Shiang shredded beef with rice was a little too sweet for my palette. Had more carrots than beef which maybe is normal. Restaurant is simple, quiet and clean. The food portion is too generous (and I was hungry). We could have easily shared with two people.

An absolute gem! The food was beyond delicious, Every bite was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The service was top-notch, with friendly staff who made us feel right at home. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a great meal. Highly recommend trying Yu shiang shredded beef with rice and also the beef noodles in soup,it’s a game-changer! Can’t wait to come back for more!
