  One of the best experiences I ever had in a restaurant and definitely the best in Kenya. The food is truly amazing, the service outstanding and the experience is very intimate. When we came back with other people, they changed all dishes we already had specially for us. Highly recommended if you are looking for a special culinary experience!

With seating limited to just a handful of guests per seating, the restaurant emphasizes care and attention the atmosphere is relaxed and personal, perfect for a quiet dinner or a special occasion. The menu changes regularly and features inventive multi-course meals that draw on African ingredients and global culinary techniques dishes are artfully plated, often offering unique flavour combinations and enough variety to cater to vegetarians or those with dietary preferences. Service is warm and attentive; staff take time to explain each course and often go out of their way to make the experience memorable. #EatOutApproved!

  Excellent food and service worthy of a Michelin star. The 7 course tasting menu is a mix of local influences and ingredients and avante garde international cuisine. It's just the right amount of food. One particular standout dish was an onion ring made with ugali - my girlfriend usually doesn't like fried food but enjoyed this one and said that if all onion rings were like this one she'd eat them. The location is charming, albeit tricky to find. All seating is exposed to the elements, but they have blankets and furnaces to keep you warm. Service was what really elevated the experience. The staff took the time to learn our names, explain every dish, and answer questions. They genuinely seemed passionate and knowledgeable about their work. Most importantly, everything was delivered promptly, from food to drinks to blankets.

  Words cannot describe how fantastic Embark is. Pius & David were exceptional & so was the rest of the team. Fine dining at its finest. Cherry on top was the flowers & homemade peanut butter we were surprised with to celebrate our anniversary.

  This was, beyond, an amazing experience! Every dish was wonderful, flavorful, and unique. I’m still amazed at how the chefs turned veggies into an amazing, sweet dessert dish! I always appreciate when restaurants accommodate dietary requirements, such as mine. I had a fully vegan/ plant-based meal! The service was incredible! Pius and Kevin were amazing hosts! I love how they gave a descriptive, verbal presentation of each course, and we also learned a bit of history throughout. This was truly a fine dining experience, and a wonderful place to celebrate a birthday! I enjoyed and was wowed by the birthday surprise after the last course. I would visit Nairobi again, just to experience Embark again! Bravo! I need an encore!
