  I have always enjoyed this place and appreciated its great ambience. Today, however, I was rather disappointed. When I ordered my usual, I was informed that butter and jam are now charged separately at Ksh 150. To make matters worse, the jam was scooped from a communal jar rather than provided in an individual wrap. For the price being charged, this felt unreasonable and quite disappointing🥲

  I recently visited Saab Bakery & Café in Karen, and I loved the beautiful, calm atmosphere — it’s modern, spacious, and such a nice spot to unwind. Their pastries and breads are really fresh (the brioche bread stood out for me), and the coffee pairs perfectly with their cakes; the lotus cake was a sweet highlight. The staff were warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. That said, I did notice the service can be a little slow when it’s busy, and sometimes not everything on the menu is available, which can be a bit disappointing. Still, overall, it��s a lovely place to relax and enjoy good food, especially if you’re not in a rush.

  I’ve only had a cappuccino and a sparkling water, but they both met requirements. Good service, pleasant environment. Only drawback is that you have to come to Waterfront Mall to enjoy it.

  Been here a few times. I like their lemon dawas, which have real zing about them. Their calzones (not currently on the written menu but still available) are gigantic and very tasty). During the day, the outdoor seating looks onto the waterpark, plenty of activity. Open late as well, with gas heaters outside if needed. Recommended.

  Update: Fresh yummy pastries. Love it The cappuccino was great, ordered the sandwich with ciabatta bread and it was too crunchy it hurt my gums. Overall I had a great experience. Friendly staff and has a cute interior.
