Menengai Crater is a stunning and peaceful spot just outside Nakuru, offering incredible views and a great hiking experience. The crater is massive and the scenery from the top is absolutely worth the climb. It’s a perfect escape into nature with a unique mix of beauty, history, and local culture. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore beyond the usual tourist spots.

Alkhair Royal School had an amazing experience visiting Menengai Crater in the Great Rift Valley. The scenery was breathtaking, the weather refreshing, and the natural beauty unforgettable. Truly a place worth visiting.2025

Visited Menengai Crater mainly because my daughter learned about Calderas in her geography class and we wanted to see what it looked like. Visit was extra special with our guide Bed, who we picked up at the entrance gate after paying a small entrance fee to the forested area. Highly recommend a guide as we learned way much more as he showed us around. Took us an hour for the visit.
