    Although we enjoyed our visit we found the website to be very unhelpful. There was nothing saying which gate was open. Seems the Main gate was closed due to flooding. We entered the Lanet gate since our friends had been there no too long ago. We didn't see many animals but we watched the pelicans and the few flamingoes that remain since the lake has expanded.

    Lake Nakuru National park on general was a great experience. The best experience was seeing the tree climbing Lions and huge numbers of animals

    Lake Nakuru never disappoints There are so many animals including: giraffes, wart hogs, flamingos, hippopotamuses, rhinos, zebras, baboons and so many more. One of our favorite places to visit!

    Lake Nakura national park is spectacular. One can see a sea of pink flamingos in the lake. Vast open space of Nakura lake one can spot flamingos from a wide angle to a nearest. We spotted wild boars , rhinos, giraffes. In lake Nakura we spotted different varieties of birds too. You are not allowed to get down of your vehicle, there is a hefty fine if you do so. Though the park is not huge visiting it is worth the trip.
