    Very disappointing. When you reach the top, there are hardly any signs or information explaining what the buildings are, what you’re looking at, or the significance of the area. It really takes away from the experience and makes it difficult to understand or appreciate what you’ve come to see.

    Well worth a visit. The view of the top is amazing, you can pretty much see all the government buildings in the vicinity and also the greater Nairobi. When I was there there were demonstrations outside (as per the videos) but I felt safe inside.

    One of the few places where you can get a 360° panoramic view of Nairobi CBD. The rooftop at KICC is definitely worth visiting, especially around sunset. You need to take the lift to the 21st floor and then walk up another 2–3 floors to reach the rooftop. I’d recommend going around 5:00–5:30 PM so you can enjoy the sunset and the city views before it gets dark. The rooftop usually closes around 6:30–7:00 PM. The staff may also show you the auditorium and some of the other areas, which is a nice addition to the visit.

    Very nice views of the Nairobi skyline. Visit during weekdays when they are not so many people on the rooftop. Also utilize one of the professional photographers for some amazing shots!

    I visited the iconic KICC rooftop today, and the experience was absolutely dope. It’s not quite the absolute tallest point in the city, but it is damn near it, offering an unparalleled 360-degree look at the skyline. I was amazed to see the view of Nairobi stretching out in every direction—I got incredible footage and photos of the downtown core, the upper parts, Kilimani, and Westlands. It felt like looking at the entire city at once. It’s also pretty wild standing up there knowing this is the exact spot where iShowSpeed did his crazy live event and hit his massive subscriber milestone. The only confusing part was the pricing. Locals told me there wasn’t a fee, but I ended up paying an $8 entry fee at the gate. I'm still unsure if the building itself is free and they only charge for access to the roof helipad, but whatever the controversy or confusion is around that, it didn’t take away from the trip. I got great views, videos, and memories. I am incredibly glad I went, and it is a must-visit in Nairobi!
