Maybe it's because Christmas was approaching and therefore the absence of guests made the staff switch to really low gear.
The outside environment was so nice. Even the pool. Very calming. The rooms however a different story! Very old, everything from the bedding to the floors seemed unhygienic and outdated. If they worke...
