I was in Lodwar for something else, but this spot turned out to be the perfect escape from the afternoon heat. Stopped by for a quick lunch and quickly found out that a single boiled egg costs more than a crate—had a good laugh about that! The service was friendly, though the wait time was a bit long. Overall, Turkana truly has some of the most stunning sunrises and sunsets I’ve ever seen

As a person who loves nature, birds trees, quiet and serene environment, this is the place to be. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, it provides a unique ambience. The large open spaces, the vast number of trees, the variety of bird species is just amazing. The food is amazing, the rooms very spacious and clean, the gardens provide for a relaxing outdoors. The service is exemplary.
