Turkana — Restaurants, Hotels & Things to Do

Turkana is a large, arid county in north-western Kenya, on the western shore of Lake Turkana. Lodwar is its main town, with hotels, restaurants and shops, and Eliye Springs is a lakeshore stop north-west of Lodwar. Travellers come for the lake, the fossil sites of the Turkana Basin and long overland routes across the north, and use Lodwar for lodging and supplies on the way.
