    The place is nice and has a cool air especially from the trees. It has a great ambience and it's located near the sea front. The toilets are clean, the room is spacious enough. The staff is also very Friendly and Kind. I enjoyed my stay.

    My stay at Jamala House Lamu was an absolute delight. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that our every need was met. We loved exploring the charming town of Lamu, with its rich history and vibrant culture. And of course, the choice of the complementary breakfast needs to be improved. We would highly recommend Jamala House Lamu to anyone looking to visit Lamu.

    Super convenient if you decide to stay in Lamu town Jamala has everything you can need after a day in Lamu. Is super well located, the beds are quite cozy, the shower works perfectly, is clean, good breakfast and the place itself is agreadable and interesting. We know that are many places in Shella and Lamu town, but we chose Jamala and, definitely we don't regret at all. A last general tip: we had many problems to pay with dollars, try to avoid any other currency than local.

    Wonderful place to stay! We got picked up from the airport by Baji, who lead us directly to the Jamala house, great service! Super clean, amazing shower, big fan on the ceiling, now there's WiFi also, breakfast was really good, you even have the opportunity to cook for yourself. By far the best looking accommodation we had in Kenya! Very pretty place! Also I'd like to point out the staff, super friendly, courteous, chatty, the guys make sure you feel welcome and at home at any times :) Located in the old Town you definitely get that 100% Lamu experience. Whenever I'll be back to lamu, you can bet I'll be staying at the Jamala guesthouse :)
