This review is for the Artists’ Cottage on the grounds of Casa la Ndoto. We are a well traveled couple who found this cottage on Airbnb. A nice 2 bedroom bungalow, cottage on the grounds of Casa La Ndoto and completely separated from the main house for plenty of privacy. Wonderful bird life and beautiful songs fill the air day and night. Peaceful place to watch the birds, monkeys and warthogs from the front veranda. Comfy chairs and couches encourage you to relax before heading to the nearby Giraffe Center or SWF elephant orphanage. The only thing lacking was a better stocked kitchen, tea was limited with no milk or eggs in the fridge. Also some fruit would have been appreciated, otherwise all the kitchen needs were there including a microwave. Attila was on hand to greet us very kindly brought us some deet spray for mosquitoes that we forgot to buy and he was on hand by phone if needed. I would recommend for anyone wanting a peaceful relaxing stay. Just remember to bring milk or creamer for your tea and coffee. :) P.S. the beds were quite comfortable with perfect mosquito nets and smoking is allowed outside the house.

I stayed in this piece of paradise a couple of months ago. I can't wait to be back in Nairobi and stay again at this fantastic spot! The location is simply perfect to be away from the crowd of the city, and experience the calmness of the residential neighbourhood of Langata - just next to the Nairobi National Park. The hosts are amazing and let guests use the veranda outside of the rooms where they also serve amazing breakfasts. They are extremely helpful with any practical need, including providing useful and reliable contacts of drivers and guides for exploring the city. This is a real gem, don't miss it if available!
