  Horrible service. Waiters have attitude for days. Cold food. Would not recommend

  It seems like this was the place to be for relaxed family outings back in its heyday. Now, it is definitely not. We went on Sunday 16th November 2025 looking forward to a nice birthday lunch for my niece. In hindsight, I should have trusted the reviews on TripAdvisor and not risked going here. We ordered wet fry meat, the waitress brought dry fry. On top of that, it was unpalatable. Dry, and tough. We asked for broiler chicken, the waitress brought kienyeji. Probably to mark up the bill. When we asked why, she said 'This is the one we have'. Yet she had accepted our initial order, and our receipt read as if we had received the correct items. The waitress was definitely following instructions from her superiors, but she is catching just as much flak for making our experience so much less than satisfactory. The sautéed potatoes were pale white and cold on one side. Seemed like they were just taken from the fridge, tossed up and down with one onion, microwaved for one minute and brought out. The fries were so so so few, you could count them as you ate. As for drinks, my goodness, they didn't even have milkshakes or fresh juices. No variety for kids except for Delmonte or Soda. Alcoholic drinks, the same. Only beers and very few spirits available. They didn't have one decent whisky, gin, aperitif or even tequila. Just beer, and no variety on that either. When we asked, they said that the place was under new management. A place that sells itself on being a family friendly spot, with such gaps on a Sunday in November? New management or just Poor management? The play area is disappointing. Very small. Some small faded playhouses on a carpet that needed to be changed last year, a small trampoline and an inflatable rock climber. A child above 7 years would have a hard time playing there. As for the bill, we were asked to pay to the manager/owner's personal number. 'New management rules'. I understand that the business environment in Kenya is horrible right now, but this establishment certainly isn't doing itself any favours. The only thing I enjoyed was the grass lawn. That is well maintained and feels nice on the feet. The place is spacious as well. Outdoor seating is appreciated. Parking was sufficient. Otherwise, not worth it.

  What a terrible experience with the service. So many waiters hanging around doing nothing. I asked for water and it wasn’t on my table in a whole hour! The food took 2hrs after they said 10 minutes. Very absent minded waiter who kept forgetting details of my order. Won’t be coming back or recommending to anyone.

  Very nice place to eat and spend time. The food is organic and always well done... Complements to the chef and staff. You can never go wrong with their chicken. The lawns have maintained a splendid look even during the hotter months. Woe unto the mixtape that is constantly on loop though... Nearly three years now, the soul train is still running!!!
