    The older rooms are old. The rooftop is ok. Workers are your front office, they set the ambience.

    The hotel has accommodation from budget rooms to luxury rooms. The staff are friendly. The food delicious, especially the biriyani! Felt like home away from home! The hotel is located near the sea front and very easy to locate.

    Good location, in the heart of the old town (but not 10 minutes from Shela as stated on booking). Cheap, frequented by locals. Room dingy, very humid with unclean linens, fan poorly working and noisy. They tried to charge extra for the room

    The rooftop restaurant has a nice breeze and view towards the Fort square with all the life on it. Very local restaurant with great prices, clean and airy with a lot of light. Had byriani and it was very tasty. Together with a big juice I paid 450KSH.

    Their low cost rooms need some upgrade in the toilet and bathroom, even though they are low cost rooms, it should be clean enough and up to the standard. Lighting in the room needs to enhanced, windows should have mosquito nets and curtains. If you looking for that ancient feel, this place gives a bit of that feeling. The location is good being in town and withing reach to almost everything. They also have an in house restaurant.
