Located at mokowe lamu county Kenya , easily accessible from main road. I enjoyed the coastal meals here.

They have simply the most affordable , most delicious Swahili cuisine in the region along with other delicious local dishes for dining in and an assortment of tantalising Swahili street food at their snack bar outside. I personally recommend the pilau or the biryani that's served only on Fridays. You can choose to either sit indoors or outside on the verandah or bandas enjoying the clean Mokowe air with your meal. Service is also amazing. The waiting staff are pleasant, polite and don't keep you waiting too long to attend to you or for your order. The proprietor, Halima, is also the nicest lady you'll come across; she takes genuine concern for the satisfaction of all her customers by interacting with each and every one of them along with her warm broad smile ensuring that all is well with everyone who walks through her doors.
