  We ate pizza yesterday at this Italian restaurant. As an Italian, I think it's one of the best Roman pizzas I've had abroad. The Sardinian chef, who came to train the local staff, was very attentive throughout the dinner. The waiters were prompt and courteous. We also really enjoyed the desserts, including the tiramisù and the tortino al cioccolato. The savoiardi and biscuits are all homemade, and all the dishes are prepared with authentic Italian ingredients. Plus, there's the option of having a private shuttle take you from the hotel to the restaurant, including the return trip. I recommend Casa mia to Italians and all🍕

  Service was disappointing but I'd give it another try. Went in for dessert and halfway into the restaurant the hostess ran after us and asked if we had a reservation. We didn't and were not so politely told we need to report to her first (she was on her phone when we passed the doorway). Sat down and the server came with a menu. A different server came to take our orders and after a few minutes a third server came and told us we can't sit here because we're only having dessert. "Sit over there". Fair enough, we didn't mind the move. We then asked him to bring us the menu for us to order a takeaway pizza. The menu never came. The restaurant was almost 70% empty at 8pm on a Sunday so there was no apparent strain to warrant questionable service (or a reservation). The owners (I believe) were walking through the restaurant checking on the patrons so that's a plus.

  Our food experience here was divine, we had linguine with courgette, calamari, lobster and ravioli- all made perfectly, it’s pricy but well worth it for the quality of food - I’d even go as far as to say the food was better than Ali babas. Would love to try it again when I’m back. The restaurant was very empty for a Wednesday and that contributed to the haunting atmosphere but over all the decor, service and food gets a 10/10 from me.

  One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Diani over the years. I came here twice with my Italian mother who was equally as impressed. The food was presented incredible well and you can taste the chef’s passion when eating the food. For dessert I was recommended by Rita the Semifreddo Nonna Rosy which was out of this world and a must have! Thank you so much for this experience, will definitely be back.

  Italian restaurant. Location was easy enough to find. The ambience is great. Food can be tricky if you are not into Italian. The linguine zuchini prawns was real tasty, loved it we had dessert as well. A huge selection of wines and cocktails available. I won't lie price point is high for the average Kenyan. Hospitality great. Yoh they open only from 4pm so you may need to make reservation if you are many. The restaurant is award winning so that speaks for itself.
