  Amazing location. One of the best places by Lake Victoria to watch the sunset from. The late afternoon to evening breeze is refreshing. It is one of the calmer and quieter restaurants unlike some of the loud rowdy popular ones, until someone shows up with their own huge Bluetooth speaker, which frankly should be not allowed. Otherwise you can simply sit and watch the waves, birds and fishing boats. The food is nice, amazing coffee. It might take a while to catch attention of the staff and order your food.

  Food is super expensive. The washroom has a malfunctioning tap and the toilet flash is broken. Services take too long. For such a high-end lake joint, I was disappointed. The ambience though is beautiful. They just need to work on the other areas.

  Visited on a Sunday afternoon/evening with family. A group of four plus one child. Plenty of siting both indoors and out. Good setup for either family dinners or intimate one-on-one outings. No loud music, just the sound of the waves splashing against the shores of the lake. The portions served were sizeable, good value at that price point. Good ambience; as is the case with most lakefront spots in Kisumu. Not at all crowded, by the way. I'd say we're were about four groups at the time? Service was great, seeing as we had visited a day in advance to confirm the establishments suitability to our visit. Loved the detailed service and advise given on our survey check. Couldn't stay for the sunset, but absolutely sure it would slap!

  Spent a relaxing afternoon at Kiboko Bay, and it was an overall great experience. The views were absolutely perfect—sunlight streaming down, a light breeze, and a breathtaking scenery. The service was attentive, and the food was fantastic. We ordered a platter with a mix of fish, chicken, and mutton, and everything was incredibly tasty. The flavors were on point, and it really hit the spot. One slight disappointment, though—despite offering to pay a little extra, we couldn't get the coconut fish added to the platter. They wanted us to order it as a separate dish! It’s something they might want to consider amending, as it would have been a perfect addition. Silly rule really because fish is already listed as an option in the platter and all that needs to be added to it is coconut cream. We stayed until sunset, and the view was absolutely stunning before the rain started. The atmosphere was just unbeatable, and I’d definitely return for another visit.
