All being said this is a great meal, although a little pricey but well worth it. One cannot see any signage from the road but it is in a small centre. The food was great and tasty the service great and we did go in the afternoon so the atmosphere was not the best but I believe it is better in the evening. Well worth a visit.

Recently celebrated a birthday here. Service was amazing and waiters were considerate enough to serve and sing a birthday song for my partner. Loved it and will definitely be back!

The meat was really good, especially the soup — it was excellent. The service was quite slow even though it wasn’t busy. The prices are a bit high, but it’s worth it. The outdoor area could have been designed better — it’s small and quite plain. The indoor space was much nicer. They accept credit cards and there’s parking available.

Ankole Grill is pretty easy to find and has an appealing ambience once you're inside the restaurant. In terms of food and drink, the prime beef and fillet steaks were not only very tender but also well seasoned, cooked to our desired doneness and paired well with the different sauces and South African red wine we ordered. My personal favorite menu item was the "Mchicha" (local green vegetables). It was creamy with just the right amount of seasoning and absolutely flavorful. We were a bit disappointed, though, that they didn't offer regular Irish potatoes (mashed) on the menu so we opted for the hand-cut fries. For dessert, we had the Dark Chocolate Fudge cake which, also, did not disappoint! Great service from our waitress, Jemimah, and the rest of the service team.

The food and Ambience is topshelf. The Burger is really good, and Mutura platter is a first for me in a nice place like this and it didn't disappoint.
