The chocolate and banana cake we bought were old and dry. Toast bread was moldy. The coffee was good (hence the two stars instead of just one). We managed to buy a tamarind juice that was fermenting, this we returned. I texted the seller with a complaint and request for a refund. My text received no reply and I am therefore leaving a negative review here as promised. That said, the atmosphere at this small roadside place was pleasant, but little does it help when the food sold is expired. Edit: following the posting of the above review, the owner apologized and refunded me for the expired food. Review therefore updated to 4 stars overall.

Very cute place with good food for a very good price! The food was prepared on the spot, so very fresh, but it still arrived fast! Would recommend 10/10 for lunch

A beautiful and unsuspecting spot for coffee and food on the way to Amboseli. Lovely atmosphere. I ordered the avocado toast — which was an egg sandwich with avocado, eggs, cucumber, and red onion. Delicious.

Great place to stop for food and coffee. Clean bathrooms and with plenty of quality toilet paper. We stopped on our way to Amboseli Park and again on the way out because it was so good. Ivy and Maureen were very kind and helpful staff.
