    One has to use the ferry to get to the other side (South coast). Here there was plenty of sea creatures. Variety of fish the white snapper, red snapper and all. Also oysters, lobsters, shrimps, and others whose names I don't really remember. We got to buy them straight from the fishermen. Compared to beaches like Pirates and Nyali, this beach was clean - very clean indeed. I was actually taken aback by a madafu trader who after selling madafu to one us, took the left overs and dug a hole a bit deep to burry the leftovers in for decomposition. I was amazed, he told us that the beach needs to stay clean. Some vervet monkeys also paid us a visit. They can be a naughty sometimes- one of them peed on my friend. No tickets to buy.

    Very nice and clean public beach with a variety of activities you can get involved in, especially for water sports lovers. It offers a mix of kitesurfing, sailing, relaxation, snorkeling at Johnson Island 🏝️ to the south and dhow rides at Kongo River mouth to the North. Don't fail to visit the Kongo River mouth, it offers a nice beach experience
