  I was there on Monday night and enjoyed a truly delightful dining experience at Makaazi Nyali! The food was absolutely delicious, packed with vibrant flavors and beautifully presented. I learned from the waitress, who introduced herself as Nancy, that the dishes were crafted by a chef named Anita. The warm hospitality and those incredible dishes made for a wonderful meal. I highly recommend Makaazi Nyali for a fantastic dinner!

  It s very serene atmosphere, wide garden at the back and modest swimming pool. You can as well sit indoors and enjoy service from near counter and kitchen.

  The service and food was not it! Second time going there and it went from worse to the worst experience. I was served a drink I didn’t order and it came late. Food was served after ages too and it was cold I had to call them to warm it up. Again, the service is slow. Never seen a place this poorly managed. Kudos to the gardener though...the place looks amazing. Just lacking in all the other departments

  We've just spent 2 nights here in the Superior Double Room with a garden/pool view and had a great time! It's very clean, spacious and we loved the bathroom (huge shower!). We spent Christmas Day here and the hotel put on a special event with a live band, that was great. Breakfast at the hotel's restaurant was yummy (this wasn't included in our room rate). The swimming pool is a great feature, you can watch all the cute vervet monkeys hanging around it too. A special shoutout to Walker & Brian at the bar, we hung out with these two for 2 nights and they're so friendly and full of funny stories to share (and made delicious cocktails too). The Christmas Day event made them extra busy, when we saw all the glasses that they had to wash, we felt sorry for them. A dishwasher would be handy for them! The other staff members at the hotel were very lovely too.

  This is one of the worst experiences I have ever had. We arrived at about 2030 hrs. The restaurant had not set a table for us even though we had a reservation. They put us in a gazebo with low tables. We did not complain because at least we were seated together. Only 1 waitress was serving all of us. The service was so so so slow. Drinks orders were forgotten and we had to follow to the bar to get drinks. Ice was in short supply and when I went to the bar to ask for ice in the ice bucket, I was told there was insufficient ice to fill my ice bucket. I asked for the manager. She was not there. I asked for her number I did not get it. I asked for the supervisor in charge. She came and was apologetic but had no solution. She said that there was ice available but we never got it. I would NOT recommend it. Some members in our group eventually left before their food came! We were a group of about 20.
