  My stay at Mara Maisha Camp was absolutely wonderful. The camp is beautifully set, with a serene and peaceful environment that truly allows you to relax and connect with nature. The tents are great; spacious, comfortable, and well maintained. Seeing ostriches freely moving around the compound was such a unique and special touch. The camp also offers excellent amenities, including a swimming pool and a spa, which added to the overall comfort of the stay. My absolute highlight was the food; I was completely spoilt for choice, with every meal being delicious and well prepared. They also have a beautiful sundowner spot, family tents for those traveling together, and even organize bonfires on request and entertainment from the Masai Community. What stood out most was how calm and uninterrupted the environment was, with no noise or disruptions from other guests. The only sad thing was that my stay was too short: I would have loved to stay longer. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I would highly recommend Mara Maisha Camp to anyone looking for comfort, tranquility, and a memorable safari stay.

  We had a terrific stay here with comfortable beds, tents, and excellent service. The camp is also conveniently close to the National Park gate. A special thank you to Risper, who welcomed us warmly at every meal and made us feel at home and well looked after. We also enjoyed the staff dancing and entertainment during meal service, which added a lovely sense of warmth and atmosphere. Housekeeping was attentive as well, providing evening turndown service and even finding my AirPod earbuds in the bed 🙏 Highly recommended.

  The camp is breathtaking. However I had mixed feelings about the service offered. On one hand the staff at the reception and restaurant were a delight and the food was delicious and flavorful. Jonah and Rita as well as the chefs took care of us and were super patient with our toddler who was quite a handful. Now the issue I had was with the housekeeping staff who not only decided to rush through their work with reckless abandon but also take some of my cash for themselves. I must commend them for being a bit considerate and leaving some for me to use as I travelled back home.

  What can I say about mara maisha camp! It was a fabulous experience to stay there. The location is nice. The hygiene is great. Food is delicious. Rooms are neat and tidy! Service is superb! The staff is very humble helping and courteous. Shoutout to ANNE! She served us and made us feel at home in the restaurant. Thank you so much for the lovely hospitality girl!🤗🤗🤗 The ostriches are beautiful! Would highly recommend this place for any kdy to visit....

  If I could give this place 6 stars, I absolutely would. What a beautiful hotel — calm, tranquil, and crafted with such incredible attention to detail. Everything exudes luxury in the most effortless way. The food was delicious, plentiful, and full of flavour, with so many great options for vegetarians. But what truly made my stay unforgettable were the people. The staff were exceptional — their warmth, kindness, and energy made all the difference. I’ve travelled a lot, but I don’t think I’ve ever been touched by a hotel the way I was here. A few things I’ve seen mentioned in other reviews are, to me, simply part of the charm. The Wi-Fi can be patchy inside the tents but works perfectly well in the main areas — and honestly, when you’re in the heart of the Mara, being offline feels like a gift. The electricity isn’t 24 hours, but that’s part of the camp’s sustainable approach — it’s refreshing to see a place genuinely mindful of its impact on nature. And yes, you might hear the occasional sound from neighbouring tents, but that’s the beauty of staying in a tent! Mara Maisha is a true gem with outstanding service and heart. I only wish I could have stayed longer. I’ll be recommending this place to everyone — it’s a stay I’ll treasure forever.
