Great rooms, setup, and views of a watering hole with a dug-out. Amazing food and impeccable service make this a top choice for a two-night break from the city.

    This is a fabulous lodge, one of the most off-beat wildlife experiences I’ve ever had in decades! The owner seems to be a this extremely hands-on who actively interacts with each customer and seeks feedback for improvement. I’m eagerly looking forward to my next visit here to see my feedback being implemented. Loved the experience and would highly recommend it.

    We booked Lentorre for group of 14 of us for two nights and so had the lodge to ourselves. Lentorre is an amazing lodge located on a small escarpment in the South rift looking out of the plains towards Shompole hill and Lake Natron. The lodge was immaculate and the staff were amazing throughout our stay. True Kenyan friendliness and willingness to help in all situations made our stay really special. Food and service was great and rooms are done in open chique style blended into the environment. The South Rift is one of Kenya's hidden gems and although it doesn't have the sheer quantity of wildlife of some of the bigger parks, the more experienced traveler should definitely venture to this magical part of Kenya and experience what it has to offer; Amazing vista's, the magic of lake Natron and its flamingo's and the unique night game drive sightings of striped hyena, african wild cat and the elusive leopard.     Fantastic, secluded lodge on a ridge overlooking countless thousands of square kilometres of wilderness. Last visit included leopard, lion, giraffe, zebra and hunting dog to name a few big ones. Amazing stargazing too!

    Great rooms, setup, view of watering hole with a dug out, amazing food and impeccable service. Highly recommend this place for people looking for a 2 night break from the city. The dug out called the Hide, is one of a kind place where you can see animals including lions drinking water at eye level a few metres away!
