  Emaiyan Luxury Camp was absolutely incredible, especially as a solo traveler. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with a traditional Maasai dance. The Maasai warriors helped with my luggage and escorted me to my room — which I appreciated greatly because they can fight lions at night and I... cannot 😄. Since it was my birthday, my room was beautifully decorated by Joyce, which was such a lovely surprise. And the tented rooms? Humongous is an understatement — spacious, luxurious, and very comfortable. The food was exceptional in both presentation and taste — filling and delicious. My waiters, Brian and Purity, were incredibly kind and patient, even allowing me to take breaks between courses so I could continue eating 😂. Please make sure you try the steak. Special thanks to Mwangi, the supervisor (hope I got the name right), and Christine at reception for their warmth and attentiveness. On my last day, they even had my jacuzzi prepared — the perfect way to end my stay. I highly recommend a minimum of 3 nights, especially if you want to fully enjoy both the camp and the safari. I’ll definitely be back ✨

  I spent 3 days and 2 nights here, and it was hands down the most fun I’ve ever had in a national park in Kenya. It was my first time visiting the Maasai Mara, and it did not disappoint in any way. From the moment we arrived, everything felt special. We were welcomed with beautiful Maasai dances, our luggage was taken care of, and we were treated to refreshing welcome drinks. The camp itself is stunning. Each guest or couple has their own private tented room, which makes the entire experience feel exclusive and intimate since the camp only hosts booked guests. Every morning, the team took us on game drives around the park, and Maasai Mara truly lived up to its reputation. It’s one of the few parks where you can spot all of the Big Five within just a couple of hours, or maybe we were just incredibly lucky! One of the highlights was visiting the Mara River at the wildebeest crossing. After the long day, we returned to camp to find a warm, private jacuzzi waiting for us, the perfect way to relax and unwind. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience at an amazing camp. I can’t wait to visit again soon.

  The staff were the most incredible part of my entire stay in Kenya. So the people were so kind and eager to help. They did an incredible job. The food was 5 star, every single thing I ate was divine. We will be going back the rest of our lives! 🙏

  Perfect place to stay if your touring the Maasai Mara. Rooms are fancy tents and have a Jacuzzi outside. Perfect for star gazing. The beds were super comfy, food was fantastic and staff were very friendly

  We traveled here with Family that live in Kenya. The experience was once in a lifetime wonderful!!! The whole staff was amazing, wonderful, friendly and accommodating; looking after everything. Special shout out to Christine & Peter the bar tenders/attendants and Alan & Gideon the security guards; they went above and beyond, made us feel like friends. The meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) were amazing; I had no idea what to expect, all were ordered off a menu and perfectly prepared. We didn’t have plans on returning to Africa after this trip; we’ve travel all over this continent; however, after visiting Emayian, I think a return trip is in our near future. I really fell in love with this place and the Masai people!
