  We spent three nights at Elsa‘s Kopje In December 2025. It was a wonderful experience! The service was outstanding. Mohammed, our guide was exceptional in his knowledge and temperament. Emily, the manager went out of her way to make sure that every little detail was attended to. Joshua, the Chef and Charles at the bar made sure that we were well fed and watered. This resort has a wide variety of animals, birds and plants. Watching Born Free in the open air was a nostalgic experience. Climbing up the hill provided a wonderful view of the entire region.. All in all, these three days were memorable, and I would do it again.

  We couldn’t recommend Elsa’s Kopje more highly. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, the food is fantastic and the rooms are breathtaking. We stayed for three nights as part of our honeymoon and have loved every minute. We saw a very diverse range of wildlife and thought the setting in general is spectacular. We would like to say a particular thank you to Moses, Judy and Nehemaiah.

  Beautiful rooms, pool and setting, excellent service. We loved breakfast out in the bush admiring the views. Joe & Valerie our guide was very knowledgeable ensuring had many fantastic sighting.

  We stayed here for a couple of nights at the beginning of our honeymoon. Highly recommend for the staff, food, and culture. Honeymoon suite is also incredible for couples. It’s also the only camp within Meru, which gives incredible access for the game drives. We were here for less than two days and saw rhinos, elephants, giraffes, baboons, a marshal eagle, two leopards, two prides of lions, jackals, hippos, crocodiles, a spitting cobra, and more.

  We had the absolute pleasure of spending three nights at Elsa’s Kopje in Meru National Park as part of our honeymoon, and it was truly the highlight of our trip. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the warm hospitality, stunning surroundings, and the attention to detail that made every moment feel special. Nehemiah, the manager is kind, thoughtful, and hospitable. He consistently went out of his way to check in with us, ensuring we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves, always asking if there was anything more that could be done to enhance our experience. Our guides, Joe and Jentrol, were both phenomenal. Their deep knowledge of the park, wildlife, and the ecosystem made every game drive fascinating. We were lucky enough to see the Big Five, among countless other incredible animals, and their tracking skills and storytelling brought each sighting to life. They made the bush come alive in a way we’ll never forget. The food was nothing short of outstanding. Every meal was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious – a true testament to the chef’s talent. The bush breakfast was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we will always treasure. The rooms are absolutely stunning – built into the hillside and rock, they offer a unique and intimate connection with the natural surroundings, all while being luxuriously comfortable. Waking up to the sounds of nature and breathtaking views from our room was a dream. The entire staff was so warm, friendly, and welcoming – from the security team who made us feel safe and cared for at night, to the housekeeping and dining staff who were always smiling and attentive. Every single person made us feel at home in the most magical way. Elsa’s Kopje is a truly special place – serene, wild, and full of heart. We are already dreaming of the day we can return. If you’re considering a stay here, don’t hesitate – it will be an unforgettable experience.
