  We stayed at Ekorian’s Mugie Camp for three nights and can’t fault it! George, Daniel and the rest of the staff worked tirelessly to ensure we had a special and incredibly enjoyable trip. They made us feel part of the Mugie family! We had private safari every day, and the team were fantastic at finding the wildlife we wanted to see (including lion and cheetah!). We enjoyed beautifully prepared and presented food at every meal, even when we were away from camp. The scenery cannot be faulted, and the accommodation was great - beds exceptionally comfortable. Idyllic setting, and we never got bored.

  Our family of four (2 adults, 2 kids - 8 and 10) stayed at Ekorian's Mugie Camp for two nights. It was an amazing experience and one I would highly recommend to any traveler interested in a blend of safari and luxury. Our family stayed in two of the tents, although the word hardly does it justice. The tent was beautifully designed with hard wood floors and wooden accessories throughout. It included a shower, bathroom, and two sinks. One tent featured a king-sized bed while the other had two twin beds. The staff took care of everything for us, including laundry, providing additional blankets, and even a hot water warmer placed in the bed before sleeping each night. The food was absolutely delicious. We ate in the main lodge each meal with the exception of our last dinner which was set up under the stars next to a campfire. We had so many wonderful meals, including beef and lentil curry, roasted chicken, and salads. The desserts paired with wine, beer, and cocktails were wonderful combinations. My family had a difficult time choosing our favorite activity with each of us having different choices. I loved the game drives in which we saw lions, cheetahs, zebras, Impalas, an elephant, and many more. I also loved the camel ride to the lake. My children had a blast riding in the open safari truck and experiencing the demonstration with Anti-Poaching bloodhounds. The children hid and the bloodhound was given their scent and followed their exact path over a quarter-mile away. We fed Tala, the giraffe and kayaked in the nearby lake. Furthermore, Ekorian's Mugie Camp features a lovely swimming pool, archery set, spike ball set, volleyball, and Cornhole set which was a perfect way for our kids to spend time playing between planned activities. We ended each afternoon's activity with a sundowner of soda, wine, or cocktail with the beautiful sights of the savannah surrounding us. This has been one of the best experiences we've had together. I truly appreciated all the care, thought, and kindness of the staff gave when planning our meals and activities for the day. I would highly, highly recommend it.

  We had the most amazing stay at Mugie Camp last weekend, we resided in three tents for six adults and my three grandchildren. The staff were so absolutely amazing, attentive and could not do enough for us - thank you George for leading such a great team. Especial thanks to Sammy and Daniel who took us on such great drives and were just fabulous with the grandchildren - we will definitely come back! Penny

  I don't even know where to start as start to finish our experience was fantastic. One thing that stood out to me at Ekorian was the staff. Every single person went out of their way to make sure we had the best experience possible from food to housekeeping to management to game drives they were all amazing. Of all our adventures in Kenya Ekorian and Mugie were the highlight, the camp is a perfect combination of nature, comfort and relaxation and the game drives/wildlife were beyond incredible. The guides for the game drives have a real passion for their work/nature and are incredibly knowledgable about everything. They are just as excited as the guests during the game drives and always ready to take you out on another drive. If I had to pick on complaint it is that 1 t-shirt sent to the complimentary laundry services (yes thats right... complimentary) ended up in a different tent... the staff quickly found the shirt and this wasn't a big deal at all. Without a doubt Ekorian will be a stop for us on future trips to Kenya and I cannot recommend this place enough.

  Having visited many tented camps in Kenya, Ekorian's Mugie Camp is in a league of it's own. The food is continental, exquisite, healthy and a totally refreshing change from the starch heavy, greasy and poorly or overly spiced foods offered in many establishments. The game drives wonderful - no other tourists. Always a gamble, we were fortunate to see and enjoy the best wildlife concentrations outside the heavy traffic that exists in the National Parks. A must go to place!!
