  Absolutely include Lewa House in your Kenya adventure. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming, the food is amazing, and the guides are knowledgeable and fun. You’ll encounter incredible surprises around every corner. Just when you think you’ve had your best day ever, another magical moment happens.

  The Best!!! We couldn't have been happier with our stay at Lewa House. The bed was super comfortable with a view to our private back patio and the wilderness beyond. I especially loved the roomy bespoke rainforest shower, not to mention the large bathtub. Darren and Emma were a joy and full of specialized knowledge that only people with their combined years of experience in Kenya could have. They were attentive to our every need and so flexible about tailoring each day to accommodate different plans, like maybe a horse ride then a float in the pool. The proximity to the conservancy means you are spotting animals right away. And the guides, the key component, were supremely knowledgeable and knew all the tricks to give us the best possible chance at sightings. The food was perfectly prepared and served in a cozy safari environment. We were there for three days, which was not enough, and were truly sad when our plans mean we had to move on, but Lewa House will always stay with us in our hearts.

  Consummate hosts Darren & Emma run a wonderful Safari camp & engage the patrons to share their experiences during the community meals. They, in addition to their competent, pleasant and attentive staff, as well as the very knowledgeable, talented guides, assure that we all enjoy our stay and get the best that Kenya has to offer. We were at other high end camps and so far, Lewa House is overall the best one, even though we thoroughly enjoyed the others.

  Lewa house was absolutely amazing! We had a wonderful stay here. There were 5 of us - myself, my wife, our 6 year old daughter, my 21 year old nephew, and my father-in-law. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, Lewa house was magical. Wonderful staff, excellent management, and what a location! Our guide was Wilson, he was extremely knowledgable and helpful about everything we were seeing. Wilfred was one of the workers, and he immediatley became good friends with our daughter, always smiling and joking with her. He was so nice! One of the chefs (I think Sylvia was her name) was nice enough to allow our daughter to make cookies with her! We even got to milk cows. We were able to do several activities from the horse ride, the bush walk, and a visit to Ngare Ndare forest. All were amazing! We had great conversations with people while there, including Sophie and Calum, who were able to tell us some fascinating things about Lewa house and other topics.

  Everything at Lewa House exceeded our expectations! The lodge was beautiful, the staff were so accommodating, friendly, and welcoming! Our guide, Martin (Murage) was exceptional! He was so knowledgeable and taught us so much about the animals and their habitat. Every game drive was an adventure and we saw something different everyone! I trusted him fully with our safety on safari. He also was very personable and had a great sense of humor! The server staff, Milicent and Jovente were fantastic with the most cheerful and happy demeanors! We loved the food! I eat a vegan diet and every meal was so tasty! All of the wait staff made my birthday at Lewa House the BEST one I have ever had.. one of the best days of my life!! Thank you to everyone for the great experience from Jonty, Sarah, Murage, and all of the staff! We love you!
