Long white sandy beach with nice breeze and very welcoming service in quiet, peaceful suburbs. The lobby could be more appealing and better lit, and the path to the beach bar has trees and shrubs blocking some views. Worth a visit for the beach itself.

An intimate, all-suite boutique hotel in Karen with four-poster beds and Out of Africa ambiance. At $350 for a Deluxe Suite, Hemingways offers genuine luxury — but Karen's isolation is the trade-off.
