  Nestled in the quiet space between Naro Muro and Nanyuki, this wonderful resort offers exceptional service, meals, a bar, night time fire pits, and astounding lodging in the form of stand alone cottages. The grounds are impressive: a large indoor / outdoor dinning area, swimming pool, play space for children, lawns that are kept manicured by sheep, large vegetable gardens that provide the kitchen with ample fresh produce, a street lined with cute cottages and fruit trees (mulberry, loquat, guava, etc). The cottages are well designed to allow ample light and have a lot of architectural detail from crown molding to rot-iron windows. A kitchen is filled with all your need to cook your own meals. The living room has plenty of space to spread out with a big comfy couch, tv, and loveseat. The bedroom is large with a big comfortable bed, wash basin and a walk in shower / toilet room with hot water. Meals here are wonderful. The farm to table food that’s moving 50 m from the garden to the table make for a wonderful dinning experience, especially in the hands of their very gifted chef. These were definitely some of the best meals we had in Kenya. I highly recommend the pork chops where my wife favored the beef wet style. Breakfast starts with an array of fresh fruit that can include mango, papaya, passion fruit, tree tomato, oranges, apples, etc. the second round of breakfast is usually eggs to order, beans, home made bacon and sausage. The kitchen can also make lunch to go if you’ll be away from the resort for the day. It’s best if you can put your order in for you next meal at the previous meal as it gives them time to harvest and prep. The mango mint juice drinks are exceptional. The service is wonderful here. Everyone is attentive, kind, and very sweet. Mwangi the current manager goes the extra miles to make sure you have everything you need and can help arrange local tours, transport, etc. Definitely worth the stay! A perfect place to host a small conference, wedding celebration, or just to get away and relax. The proximity to Mt Kenya means perfect warm weather during the day and cool nights.

  Went here for an Easter break, great place to spend the weekend and if you can, just get yourself all packed with all your essentials and indulge. Free WiFi, a hot shower, a fireplace that actually works, a cold but relaxing swimming pool and massive play area for the kids. Kudos to management and the entire team.

  The pool was dirty... There wasn't a pool attendant on site (there is a warning on the wall) We were there for quite some time(2/3hrs) and no one came to inquire if we needed a drink or something... We ended up just swimming and ordering lunch elsewhere. They have beautiful gardens for weddings and such events though. The kitchen staff was kind enough to heat my baby's food for me as well... That is much appreciated 👍

  We were a group of 5 traveling on a low budget. It was a convenient place for us to stay before taking on Mt Kenya. They were very service minded and went out of their ways to try to accommodate our needs.
